Nico Muhly was awwweeeessssooommmee. Just as cute and funny and brilliant as expected. Of his pieces, they played Keep In Touch, A Hudson Cycle, Skip Town, and The Only Song. Keep In Touch was easily my favorite; their violist, Nadia Sirota, was rather amazing.

Because it was at the Lakeshore Theater in Belmont, and I suppose also because all the artists are cute boys playing eclectic and indie music, there were a lot of gay couples there. It was weird. I dunno, it’s hard not to compare yourself to other people sometimes, and I found myself doing that a lot. Anyway.

We stoppeed by Pick Me Up afterwards and had some chili cheese fries (I really wanted to spell that Chile Cheez Frize for some reason, hmm). Oh! And guess what came in the mail! My:

1. EYIEEEEEEPODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYAYYYYYYYYYYY (that’s “ipod”)

2. Adagio Herbal Tea Sampler, woot. I still need to get a mug from Target.

3. My ‘lectric teakettle. For. The. Win.

4. Also, all my textbooks EXCEPT FOR Applied Algebra. Which is really the one I need. Grr. rr. r.

In otherrrnws, I finished Thingie #3 this morning. So, uhm, the phone rang near the end, and then a few seconds later my roommate walked in. You can hear the ringing and door-slamming respectively; I decided to keep it in there for good measure.

If you have forgotten, you can listen to my strange and disjointed collection of music HERE.

Click the capital letters, dear. It’s good for you.

(Oh, I named this 802 because that’s the name of their tour. Forgot to mention that.)
